Monday lunch...







Happy Monday everyone! How are you on this damp and cold start to the week? It can be pretty difficult to keep chirpy when the weather is so miserable but I'm trying to look on the bright side. When it's cold outside it is cosy inside right? And this turn for the slightly colder weather definitely feels more in season, and like we are nearing the end of the year.

Which lik everybody else in the blogosphere has not only got me thinking of wrapping paper, blankets and scented candles but also on how I want to spend the remaining days of 2015.

I have got out of the swing of monthly goals, but I wanted to share with you some of the things I'm doing to kick myself back on track so that I can finish the year feeling as good about myself as I did at the beginning of it! This week I really want to focus on breaking the bad habits that have snuck in recently under the guise of 'I'm so busy...'
Food glorious food... Not only have I let veganism slip almost entirely off the menu lately, I've also become a grab and go kind of girl, and my addiction to sugar is threatening to come back full force! This isn't going to do my waist line, or my bank balance any good, so this week I want to get back to basics. Lots of veggie packed dinners, and always plenty of leftovers for lunch.

Scheduling something other than Netflix... Late finishes at work, don't exactly make any one want to rush home and finish off the housework or start a new project. But this week I have absolutely NO late finishes so I will be sorting out my house, dusting off my sewing machine, writing and god forbid, maybe even blogging!

Pretending that the snooze button doesn't exist... I think this one is pretty self explanatory. 

Sticking to my budget... I wouldn't say I've gone completely off the rails when it comes to my budget but I certainly haven;t been as strict as I would like to! Something I know I will regret if it continues, especially with my trip to Berlin at the end of the month.

Trying to keep calm... This week I *should* hear about whether or not my job continues after February. Actually I was hoping to hear about it this morning, but no such luck. So in an attempt to not drive myself (and everyone around me) mental, I'm trying to keep calm, rectify my sleeping pattern, and stay productive at work. I'm, understandably, not making any promises on this one, but I can at least try.

These are just a few things I want to keep in mind this week and for the rest of the month. There not so much goals as reminders. Things to keep in mind when I'm over thinking, or making decisions on how to spend my time, money, energy and even calories (which is not a word I really believe in, but you know what I mean!).
